Privacy Policy for FastBoard

FastBoard is a custom keyboard app that lets you store and quickly insert frequently-used phrases. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, what we don't, and how your information is handled.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what FastBoard never does:

We do not record your keystrokes. The keyboard extension does not log, store, or transmit anything you type.
We do not track your typing patterns, keystroke timing, or input sequences.
We do not read or store your clipboard contents. When you use the {{clipboard}} placeholder, the clipboard is read once at the moment of insertion and immediately discarded. The content is never stored, cached, or sent anywhere.
We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA) or participate in any ad tracking.
We do not access your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or any other personal data on your device.
We do not upload the text content of your phrases. Your saved phrases stay on your device (and in your personal iCloud account if you enable sync).

2. Keyboard Extension & Full Access

FastBoard includes a keyboard extension that requires "Allow Full Access" to enable certain features. We understand this permission can raise concerns, so here is exactly what Full Access is used for:

Feature	Why Full Access Is Needed
Clipboard placeholder (`{{clipboard}}`)	iOS restricts keyboard extensions from reading the clipboard without Full Access. The content is read once at insertion time and is never stored or transmitted.
Haptic feedback	Providing tactile response when you tap keys requires Full Access.
Audio feedback	Playing key press sounds requires Full Access.
Crash reporting	Sending crash logs to help us fix bugs requires network access, which needs Full Access.

What the keyboard extension does NOT do with Full Access:

Does not send your keystrokes to any server
Does not monitor which apps you use the keyboard in
Does not access the internet for anything other than crash reporting
Does not load analytics or performance monitoring (only Crashlytics runs in the keyboard)
